Het Jekkerrondje is created for the company IVN Maastricht and has given me the opportunity to come with a new brand design. The brand stands completely on its own and is in fact a category within the already existing company.
The logo is featured by a meandering naturally flowing stream in a wide open valley, with a hillside planted with vineyards on one side and a higher hillside overgrown with trees and bushes on the other.
The challenge
Most people are far away from nature and they often walk or bike by themselves through the park without any guidance to learn from it. They want to change this by organizing a weekly "Jekerrondje" under the guidance of two guides who have completed 2 years of training. This requires a powerful logo that represents Het Jekerrondje in order for recognition.

The outcome
After presenting my logo to the owner of IVN Maastricht, Hugo Bloksma said it really fits the representation of the name, because it has all the elements that Het Jekerrondje is all about. The shape of the logo is really simple because of the round trip (het rondje) that will be made during this walk, making it really easy to apply on different designs.
