This project focuses on creating an immersive game using Figma, where every element, from the mechanics to the theme - aims to captivate users and enhance their understanding of interactive design. Through engaging variables and smooth motion graphics, players navigate challenges while experiencing seamless design principles in action.

My role - UI/UX Designer & Animator
In this project, I translated creative ideas into a tangible game experience. From the initial sketches to the final prototype, I ensured that every detail contributed to a cohesive and engaging design.
My inspiration to incorporate sound design came from a workshop I attended, where I learned how subtle audio elements can significantly enhance user immersion.
Behind the scenes
In my first prototype of the game Ratata, the gameplay isn't fully functional yet. This is because there are no actual consequences within the game—for example, the possibility of 'dying.' In this version, the situation is merely scripted, like a predefined narrative unfolding.
I applied sound design and implemented a clear game setup, including a home screen and a "game over" overlay. However, the game isn't truly interactive or playable yet. As a result, I decided to revisit the core variables needed to make the game functional.
Currently, I am working on integrating the start and end screens into the final version to create a more complete game experience with real consequences for the player.
