My project originates from my own experience and its purpose is to provide an interactive way to convey the recognition of visual snow. This is not only an informative journey, but also an innovation for others to briefly experience my daily life. Seeing the world through my eyes involves all these challenges and unique perspectives.
What I made
Driving in the dark is particularly difficult for me, because the spots are even more clearly visible once the sun goes down. So I made something similar that involves driving from sunlight to dark to increase awareness, and create a deeper understanding of this personal experience. Mario Kart is an ideal choice for this project, especially because it already features maps that transition from light to dark in some of its tracks. I have chosen for this, because players experience changes in light and darkness during races, prompting them to adapt their eyesight, which leds to adjusting their driving skills.
